carrier bags to the UK retail sector, your business is threatened by
the carrier bag tax.

Become a Full Member
As a member of the Carrier Bag Consortium you will have the right to
help determine the direction our campaign and you will have full access
to the intelligence, information and progress we achieve. You will also
become a member of the Packaging and Industrial Films Association and
gain all the benefits of joining what the UK Government's Department
of Trade and Industry has described as "a model trade association".
PIFA joining fees are determined according to your business turnover but are far less per working hour than the minimum wage!
On top of this you will contribute to our
campaign fund and have rights to use our campaign materials for your
own lobbying purposes.
Your contribution will be determined by company turnover ensuring that all our members and sponsors are equitably treated. Even for the largest company this donation will never cost more than a typical administration employee

Become a Sponsor
If you are unable to join the Packaging and Industrial Films Association, you can still become a campaign sponsor helping to prevent the irreparable damage to our industry which a carrier bag tax would bring to our businesses and to the environment.
